Overbrook 2023 Recap

Welcome to the Overbrook Equestrian 2023 Recap! The team had an amazing 2023, we are so excited to tell you all about it, and we are looking forwards to 2024!

January Jumper Schooling Show @ Amberlea Meadows

Our first show of the year was quiet, but successful nonetheless! After a winter of hard work, Jane and her partner Zac competed in their first 0.80m jumpers, earning a 6th in the Open 0.80m class on Saturday! Glad to see all of Jane’s hard work paying off! Lauren and her new mount Baker went to their first show together, competing in the 0.90m jumpers. They walked away with three 1st place ribbons, what a great start for a new partnership!

Desert Circuit IV/V @ DIHP

Cassandra and Bella made the long journey down to Thermal, California to compete for two weeks at Desert International Horse Park! The first week started nice and easy in the smaller hunters, and the pair took away a 2nd place ribbon in the 2’3 Adult Hunters! The second week Bella and Cassandra moved back up to their normal height, and had some great results, including a 4th in the 3’0 Open Hunter Undersaddle, and a 7th and an 8th in the Adult Amateur Owner 3’0 Hunters! What a great two week for your first time at Thermal Cassandra!
